Dress of the Day - June 15, 2011
Dress of the Day: Léon Bakst, Costume for Ida Rubinstein in "Helen of Sparta" (1912). Bakst is known for his costumes for the Ballets Russes, for which Ida Rubinstein danced. "Helen of Sparta" was a production by Rubinstein's own ballet company.
